Specialist banking
Our Community Banking team specialises in banking for the not-for-profit sector. The team was established to create a dedicated and focussed banking relationship for groups that have an invaluable role to play in the wellbeing of communities up and down the country.
We work with a broad range of organisations, including social enterprises, charities, voluntary organisations, religious organisations, sporting clubs and credit unions.
We also work alongside Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs) in the provision of loan finance.
Expert advice
As a dedicated team, we understand the often unique issues faced by groups in this sector, from simply changing signatories on your account to applying for a loan.
That's why every group we work with can call on the services of a dedicated Relationship Manager, a banking specialist with direct experience of the not-for-profit sector. This single point of contact will get to know your own particular banking needs and offer advice on a wide range of Bank of Scotland products, some of which have been designed specifically for the not-for-profit sector.
Products designed to suit your organisation
We offer a full range of banking services, including our interest-bearing Community Banking Current Account which offers the prospect of free banking, a Community Banking Guaranteed Fixed Deposit account and lending facilities specifically adapted for the structure of not-for-profit organisations.
