Kaye: Steph and I met while we were working for a luxury hotel company and we came up with the idea of setting up a hotel gift voucher service and as soon as we had the idea we knew straight away that we wanted to set up a business together, didn't we?

Steph: Yeah and we set about writing our business plan, and there were a couple of areas of the business we didn't have any prior experience in- like the accountancy and the legal side of the business. But there's loads of help out there.

Kaye: Yeah, it's true. And I think that's one of the benefits of being in a partnership. That you do share the responsibility, and we have very complimentary strengths. For example- Steph naturally veers towards leading on some areas of the business, whereas I will lead on other areas of the business.

Steph: And running your own business gives you a huge sense of freedom and a feeling as well of you're in control of your own destiny.

Kaye: It's very, very liberating and I think both of us enjoy the fact that we don't have a boss and that there's no office politics. It really is a fantastic experience, isn't it?

Steph: Yep, it's the best thing we've ever done.
