The Chairman Club

Integrated Finance provides transaction leadership and an unrivalled capability as a single source of debt and equity, bringing experience and empathy along with a determination to make things happen.

To support this, we have developed an elite team of talented individuals who are capable of adding significant value to our investments. These individuals will nearly always join our investee companies as Non Executive Chairmen.

The members of the club are experienced chairmen with an impressive track record not least in executive positions. Bringing a breadth of experience on a wide range of commercial issues, these individuals are visionary, creative and passionate about business with an ability to challenge as well as support and also to stimulate debate. They build strong relationships and are team players and at the same time, are articulate communicators and good listeners. Their track record often includes positions in private equity backed companies.

Some of the appointments that we have made recently include:

• Eric Nicoli (the ex Chairman and CEO of EMI) in Vue Cinemas
• Alan Thomson (the ex FD of Smiths Group PLC) in Polypipe
• Mike Pacitti (ex 3i and experienced chairman) in House of Fraser

Although we usually approach suitable individuals with a view to them becoming Non Executive Chairmen of our investee companies, we welcome introductions and direct approaches.
