Business Offset Mortgage for Professionals

Extra benefits for doctors, dentists and vets

  • Mortgage lending up to 100% loan to valuation
  • Up to a further £300k could be available
  • No early repayment charges

Understanding your business

We understand the professional environment of doctors, dentists and vets. This enables us to structure additional benefits that help you get your practice moving.

100% lending and more

Whatever the value of a practice property, we could lend you the full amount and in some cases, we may go beyond that to an additional £300,000. That means that you're able not only to buy the practice, but also pay for any equipment you need or the goodwill from an existing practice. The arrangement fee is negotiable.

Preferential rate

Doctors, dentists and vets could also benefit from our preferential rates for professionals. This rate could be further reduced with the benefit of offsetting.

How it works

Our Business Offset Mortgage for Professionals effectively combines your mortgage with a business current account. The account is set up to calculate interest at Bank of Scotland Base Rate on all credit balances but, instead of paying interest, we reduce the interest on the commercial mortgage by an equivalent amount. Therefore, you could pay off your mortgage faster. It's that simple and efficient!

Effective interest is only earned on current account balances which are less than the equivalent mortgage balance.

These additional benefits for professionals

All of these additional benefits for professionals are built onto our existing Business Offset Mortgage offer. This means you'll get the outstanding savings from combining your lending with your business current account and save even more money.
